There are two categories of membership in The Buckeye Conservancy, General and Commercial.

As it is a primary aim of the Buckeye Conservancy to represent the owners of agricultural lands and non-industrial timber lands (less than 50,000 acres of timberland ownership) in Humboldt County, California, any person who supports the purpose and objectives of the corporation and is approved for general membership by the Board, is eligible to become a General Member of the corporation with voting and other membership rights.

Any business entity that supports the purpose and objectives of the corporation, and which the Board approves for commercial membership, is eligible to become a Commercial Member of the corporation, with voting and other membership rights.
